Total Newbie!

Hi!! So I just found out about these dolls yesterday evening and have none stop been watching youtube videos, browsing all the dolls and nursery clips and I have to say they are amazing. I think I remember my aunt when growing up had this lifelike little girl doll because she had only had two boys and always wanted a little girl and couldnt have anymore. Anyway I am a mother of four little girls, the older two are not from my womb, and the younger two are my biological blessings, but I have them all year around, I dont believe in the word "Step" really. My youngest will be going into Kindergarten and at 5 she is very independent. Pre-k was a big step and its only half a day, now with all four in school, oldest being in 4th grade, I really have a lot of time on my hands and have started sewing, making tutus, various activities to stay busy. I don't work because I rather be a big part of my kids life, staying home, being active at the school, helping with any groups. I went to college and plan to continue to my phD in psychology eventually! Anyway, so anyone with tips or great sites, let me know. I would love to find a little boy since I only have girls and I lost three a long the way, I just feel like if I find the right one, I will know. I could use a distraction, I miss the "need" my kids had for me, having to be with me and have me taken care of them. My husband travels a lot and the kids gone a lot, I think this might be just what I need! Wish me luck, Im so ready for this journey!!

After a year and a half of searching I finally found a reborn that I fell in love with!

I got him/her from Beach Babies Reborn Nursery, I say him/her because the baby was made gender neutral and I really liked that about him. For the purpose of this post I will refer to the baby as him.

We chose the names Corbin Allen/Chloe Jean by the way!

He was made completely by Kimberly McClung, you can find her on facebook, ebay, and all that good stuff. She does wonderful work! Corbin is 100% one of a kind. Made with different kit pieces and constructed completely by her.

He comes with a magnet in his mouth and on each side of his head for bows when I decide I'd like to have Chloe for a change. Has a belly plate as well! I am so excited to have him! She was super nice about making two birth certificates and corresponded so quickly with me! I definitely would buy from her again, she made this experience wonderful!

She says he should be here before Christmas and my loving husband is so supportive and is excited too! We plan to open the box Christmas Eve together!
